We've got two years before the next election, and it is critical that we elect an honest human being as president in 2016. It seems Americans have a short memory span, so I'm going to remind you of a few things that have happened in the last 6 years.
Let's start with honesty. In 2008 I regrettably voted for president Obama, because he promised to shut down Gautanomo Bay, stop the feds from raiding legal pot dispensaries, bring all our troops home, increase government transparency, and for 'change we can believe in.' None of those things have happened, in fact under Obama's rein, federal pot raids are 400% what they were under Bush, despite his promise to end them. Gitmo is still up and running, American citizens can legally be indefinably detained and we're now involved in God knows how many wars, because many are 'covert' operations, and even they're existence can never be confirmed or denied. More information has been classified than ever, we are loosing our internet freedoms and many of us feel uncomfortable using social media, for fear of big brother watching. I encourage you to watch this video of America's favorite badass, Jesse Ventura before you start thinking that the republicans can help you. Bush's rein was bad, yes but honestly I am much more scared under Obama's. But neither party is the answer, and this is probably how it's designed to work. Now we're supposed to think the next Republican puppet we're allowed to vote for will save us. That's bullshit. Become an Independent and open your mind to what's happening around you. Imagine where we'll be in another 10 years if these same clowns rule over us.
